May. 22nd, 2025 07:28 pm![]() these are some items i'm seeking, and ideas i have, but by no means is this a comprehensive list. all can be adjusted. always happy to plot! i'm not too familiar with most fandoms so some context might be needed. i'm open to (mostly) anything as long as there's discussion! the beauty of his story is that he can fit neatly into most canons. frankly, it's irrelevant and restricts where his story can go. it can, however, be sci-fi or supernatural (or a mix), so he can easily slot into either genre. while there are fantastical elements in his story, i would prefer not to stray into fantasy. most of jack's usual identities are set in europe and (after the 18th century) united states of america because that's the history i'm most familiar with. but I AM ALWAYS HAPPY AND WILLING TO CREATE NEW IDENTITIES FOR HIM!!! i love to research and learn about new places. i love to create new identities for jack and fit him into history. so please don't think i can't or won't slot jack into your character's time or location. side note: i would be grateful for any information that you think is relevant to our thread. i try to research as much as i can, but sometimes i have to resort to a quick skim of wikipedia, and things can slip past me. if anything is inaccurate, please let me know and i'll change it. SEEKING —
shipping — not actively seeking it, but if there's chemistry, let's talk! superficial shipping is always ok with me! he flirts and dates your character for information, money, etc., or to help them out of a bad situation. for anything serious that involves feelings, he is reluctant to engage, but i'm willing to write it. it won't last long, though, and it'll be slow-going. he's attracted to strong, loud, and opinionated women who call him out on his bullshit. the more the love interest resembles a female lead in a slapstick rom-com, the better. he'll still flirt with quieter and more reserved characters if it serves a purpose, but he prefers women who'll kick him in the keister, figuratively and literally.
